Borgo dei Conti Resort comes from a careful restoration of a fortified building of the thirteenth century, a few kilometers from Assisi, Perugia and Gubbio. A complex that boasts luxurious and elegant rooms, a restaurant serving Umbrian specialties as well as a well-equipped wellness center, all surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden and a park with old trees and olive trees.

Borgo dei Conti Resort is located in Montepetriolo, 30 minutes from Perugia, nestled in the picturesque natural setting of the Nestore Valley. A charming resort that combines its centuries of history with the highest standards of accommodation, welcoming its guests in environments that combine ancient atmospheres with modern style.
The castle, which was erected where an ancient fortress once stood and of which there are records as early as the end of the 13th century, was then inhabited by about 500 people. In 1390 it was occupied by the Raspanti Perugini, and in 1501 it depended on Porta Eburnea. In the 19th century it passed into the hands of Lemmo Rossi Scotti, count of Montepetriolo.
The 50 rooms, equipped with air conditioning, Internet connection, minibar and safe are divided are located in the Villa and the farmhouse , overlooking the courtyard, the park or the surrounding countryside. For those in search of ancient charms, the Suite del Conte, named after Count Rossi Scotti who lived there until the mid-1900s, will surprise with its original frescoes the cast-iron fireplace from the 1600s, coffered ceiling and spacious living room.
The spaces that housed the impressive lemon house of the Rossi Scotti counts now house the restaurant, called "Rura."
