Rotenturm Castle is one of the most beautiful historic castles in Austria. It is located in the same place as the spa region of southern Burgenland. Built as the site of the Earl Erdödy family's rule in the 1860s, after 1924 it had changed ownership. The professor. Heinz Schinner, a Viennese real estate insurance expert, acquired this castle from the decadent fairy tales and revitalized it in collaboration with the Federal Office for Monuments. Schloss Rotenturm acts as a residence for his family and for the first time opens the ballrooms of the ground floor for events. The Rotenturm castle has been carefully restored. However, an ideal infrastructure has also been created to host modern events, with tradition meeting the trend.

Schloss Rotenturm History

Even from afar the tower is visible in the shape of a 34 meter high bell tower of the Moorish-style castle, which overlooks the treetops of the 11-hectare English-style landscaped park.

An ideal place for dream weddings and events with a unique charm, with seven different spaces capable of holding up to 130 people. An ideal infrastructure in the areas of catering, toilets and barrier-free access make the building, built between 1862 and 1865, a modern venue for events that will delight even the most demanding. An organizational team with an excellent network of proven partners from all sectors is able to manage every event.
