Restaurant-Café In de Waag is located in an old city gate, called St. Anthony's Gate, in the center of the bustling "Nieuwmarkt" in the historic center of Amsterdam. This distinctive monument was built between 1425-1488, and functioned as the city gate and later as the "Waag".
Illuminated by 300 real candles, this building exudes a unique evocative atmosphere: once you walk through its doors you can feel the warmth and rich history of this building.
