This Fasanerie country palace was originally built as a summer residence and pleasure palace in Tschifflik in 1715 and 1716 by Stanislaus I Leszczyński, exiled king of Poland and grand duke of Lithuania. The site was later revitalized in the 1930s with the construction of an excursion restaurant.
