La Bagnaia Resort

A few kilometers from Siena, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, La Bagnaia Resort looks like an oasis of quiet and silence. Born from the restoration of ancient medieval buildings dating back to the twelfth century, the Resort, with its 1100 hectares of land, including 600 between gardens and woods, is a meeting place between history, culture, nature and tradition.

The complex consists of the ancient village La Bagnaia, from the customs station of Filetta and the former parsonage La Canonica, different but complementary places, where the common search is the absolute pursuit of perfection and luxury. Borgo La Bagnaia has been renovated following the color choice of warm tones, in continuity with the enchanting Tuscan atmospheres, with 72 rooms and suites characterized by unique details such as custom furniture made by expert craftsmen, canopy beds and precious fabrics. In the Borgo La Filetta, obtained from an old customs station, there are 29 other rooms furnished with character and originality, in environments that pay homage to the purest Tuscan style. La Canonica is instead the old house of the parish priest, the first structure of the village to be restored, where we find 9 superior and deluxe rooms, an internal kitchen, a living room, a breakfast room and a large private garden, all furnished with objects of ancient arts from all over the world.

Tradition and refinement are also present in restaurants, with the largest, "La Voliera" in the village of Bagnaia, able to accommodate 45 people inside and 300 in the outdoor terrace. A restaurant with exclusive environments, where the flavors are enhanced by the naturalness and genuineness of the ingredients. "La Locanda del Fantino" is instead housed in some rooms of the twelfth century of Borgo La Filetta, in environments that the renovation has brought back to the old charm: exposed stone walls and warm colors frame the traditional Tuscan cuisine, with flavors of game, the products of the farm and an extensive wine list, from the best known and valuable to those to be discovered.

The Buddha Spa is the resort's spa: the name Bagnaia derives from the presence of thermal springs in the area and the outdoor pool of the Spa is fed by thermal waters of over 30 °. The center offers everything for a relaxing and regenerating experience: massages. face and body treatments, compresses, scrubs and personalized programs.

The Resort La Bagnaia has also become a must for all golf enthusiasts traveling through Tuscany: thanks to the pleasant natural setting and the unmistakable style signed by Robert Trent Jones Jr which characterizes the 18-hole course. Extending over 120 hectares, the field is embellished by picturesque lakes and the splendid Club House, from which you can enjoy an exclusive view of the 18 holes and the medieval city of Siena.
