Thermae Boetfort History
Boetfort Castle was sold in 1587 to the Belgian painter Jacques Hanibal who shelled out part of the surrounding land, only to be forced to sell the entire property to the Brussels city councilor Hendrik Madoets who was responsible for restoring it. Work on the building continued until 1610 and among the illustrious guests there is none other than Louis XVI: it seems that during his hunting trips in the surrounding woods he appreciated the quiet of Boefort.
Today the castle is a wellness hotel, where you can enjoy a variety of saunas, swimming pools, steam and wellness baths, whirlpools, relaxation rooms and revitalizing massages, relaxing facials.

The hotel offers Classic, Superior and Deluxe rooms. Classic rooms are located in a new building across the street. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are located within the castle walls in the original annexes of the domain. All the rooms have been restored respecting their history. Of course, all the rooms have the modern facilities necessary to guarantee a stay of total relaxation.
