The Hotel Ansitz Fonteklaus is located on a sunny hill in Val d'Isarco, at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, near the medieval town of Chiusa. Here the view embraces a magnificent natural scenery with green meadows, deep forests and mountain peaks. From these evocative heights, according to legend, it is possible to see 77 bell towers.
Ansitz Fonteklaus History
His first official mention dates back to the fourteenth century. The Gfader family has been running the traditional trattoria since 1979: Andreas is the chef, who specializes in taking care of the gastronomic wellness of the guests. Arnold and his son Heinz, however, take care of the service, emphasizing the wonders of the kitchen and ensuring guests moments of relaxation and pleasure of the palate.
The interiors are in regional style, with the 10 comfortably furnished rooms have been carefully integrated into the historic building.
