Surrounded by 10 hectares of park, the Castle offers 9 different meeting rooms and period rooms. After a meeting or a training course, there is the possibility to have a chat in the charming Kasteelbistro with terrace located on the Kasteelvijver, or organize a wine tasting in the cellar with adjoining tasting room.
Kasteel Oud Poelgeest History
The castle belonged to the famous professor Boerhaave in 1668 and is surrounded by a 10-hectare estate full of trees, a guardhouse, a forester's house and a chapel. In addition, the coach house built in 1900 with an adjoining hotel is equipped with all comforts such as free parking, wifi and a nice restaurant.
The castle and estate lend themselves to a surprising variety of events.
In recent years, the arch bridge has been beautifully restored, as has the Dragon Hall completely restored to its former glory.
The Coach House, also located on the estate, was built in the 19th century. Here you will find the bistro and the largest meeting room, located in the former barn.
The hotel has 47 comfortable rooms located in the Koetshuis. The rooms are all equipped with private bathroom, separate toilet, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
