Romantik Hotel am Brühl History
A half-timbered building of a former seed farm, the Wilhelminian-style building of the former Harz liquor factory-the Harzgeist was born here-and a barn building with a Prussian coffered ceiling and cast-iron columns frame the hotel's beautiful garden.
Even from the outside, the estate with its 300-year-old half-timbered barn, newer brick farm buildings, and the elegant 1922 slate-roofed mansion, which at the time was a "laboratory building with apartments for officials," is a fascinating sight. For many decades this was the home of agriculture, but especially of seed farming, for which Quedlinburg was world famous.
Guests will find a relaxing atmosphere reminiscent of Mediterranean lightness. In the 47 individually furnished rooms, the ancient fabric of the building has been preserved and harmoniously combined with contemporary comfort.
