Chateau Trebesice History
About 80 of these works of art can be found in the castle. In fact, the suites of this Renaissance-era chateau could be used as galleries. Guests can choose to spend time admiring the paintings, walking in the gardens, hiking, or visiting the UNESCO World Heritage city of Kutná Hora, just five kilometers away.
Another important attraction is the empire-style Kačina Castle, built between 1806 and 1824 as the representative summer residence of Johann Rudolf, Count Chotek of Chotkow and Wognin, who at the time was the president of the governorate and the highest burgrave (German nobleman) of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The castle became a national cultural monument in 2001 and is located 11 kilometers from Château Třebešice.
All the spacious and bright suites are furnished in an individual style. Each is like an art gallery in its own right offering a unique experience, all with a view of the garden.
