The hospitality is characterized by peace and tranquility, with rooms and suites furnished with different styles, but always with warm and welcoming atmospheres. The location is ideally suited as a setting for private conventions and ceremonies with the magnificent roof garden and the large living rooms of the residence ready to welcome guests in a simple and refined environment.
L'Orto degli Angeli History
In the historic center of Bevagna, two ancient palaces face each other, divided only by a graceful hanging garden, an unexpected hortus among centuries-old walls. On one side Palazzo Alberti, XIV-XVII century, built on the site of a Roman theater, on the other an eighteenth-century dwelling, belonging to the Angeli family Nieri Mongalli.
This is the Orto degli Angeli, a period residence with an evocative name, open to those wishing to treat themselves to an unforgettable stay. A large frescoed hall, dominated by a large stone fireplace, welcomes guests, incredulous in front of the refinement of the decorations in most of the rooms. Everywhere there is a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to rest and tranquility and above all to the exquisite landlords, heirs of an aristocratic sense of hospitality. With simplicity and warmth they provide suites, small jewels of pictorial art, and rooms with wooden beams, in a more rustic and informal tone. The furniture is the original one of an ancient patrician residence, without however neglecting the modern needs of comfort.
And for those who want to take advantage of the holiday to enjoy the pleasures of the table, the small à la carte restaurant is ideal. Every day different traditional specialties are proposed and strictly based on genuine products, while on reservation it is possible to participate in medieval evenings with menus of the period and wine tastings.
The magic of this place, suspended between tiny Roman ruins and delightful frescoed vaults, also lends itself to business meetings and small congresses.
