The charming Tennerhof Gourmet & Spa de Charme Hotel is the most traditional and romantic 5-star hotel in Kitzbühel. The hotel is privately owned by the Mag. Luigi von Pasquali family. The view from the hotel of the famous Tyrolean resort of Kitzbühel and the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains are of superb beauty.
Tennerhof History
The hotel in Kitzbühel dates back to a farm dating back to 1416. In this year the farm was mentioned for the first time in a document and the owner at that time, Item die Schwaig Gresnaw, is mentioned.
Even today, the Tennerhof's address has not changed: Griesenauweg. The 5-star country hotel was considered a "beautiful farm". Thanks to the special position, the former "Tennerhofbauer" had the task of observing the weather, predicting its development and lifting a white sheet in the event of an incoming storm. Over the centuries, several different owners have been listed in the news. Interestingly, farms change owners' families very often. As early as 1778, the farm was called "Tenner's manor" and thus found its definitive name.
The current owner's grandmother bought the property, which at the time also owned her own farm. The Römerhof manor was built here 20 years ago. In 1957 the next generation, Eva and Leopold von Pasquali, took over the business and gradually extended the simple 3-star hotel into an elegant 4-star hotel.
In 1989, Mag. Luigi von Pasquali, the current owner, joined the company and in 1991 he became the managing partner. In 2000 the Tennerhof was chosen as a 5-star hotel. The hotel has been a member of the Relais & Châteaux association for over 10 years. The spa and wellness area was completely rebuilt and renewed in 2016 - since then the Spa de Charme has been an official member of the Leading Spa Resorts.
The result was a high-end luxury chalet with 3 chalet suites in Kitzbühel with a living area of up to 120 m² per chalet suite. The opening ceremony took place in December 2017. Since then, the three chalets have become a very special vacation spot for our guests.
