Beautiful mansion located on the famous Riviera del Brenta, Villa Ducale hosts one of the most prestigious hotels in the Venetian region.
Villa Ducale History
The construction of this beautiful manor house dates back to 1884, when Count Giulio Rocca, a Venetian nobleman, built it over the remains of an earlier 18th century structure, of which the current park and church are still part of it.
Staying in this noble historic home, located on the river Brenta just a few minutes from Padua and Venice, you can enjoy an environment immersed in an oasis of tranquility.
The Villa, restored to its original splendor thanks to skilful restoration works, is now completely refurbished preserving the ancient charm and prestige that characterized its walls.
The original floors, the precious chandeliers and Murano glass mirrors, stuccos and frescoes, alternate in each room, creating an elegant and refined atmosphere: from the Salone delle Feste, able to host up to 200 people, to smaller rooms such as the Sala del Naviglio that lend themselves well to more intimate and reserved meetings.
Equally refined is found in the 11 rooms of the Hotel which, embellished with period furniture and precious fabrics, overlook the centuries-old park that frames Villa Ducale.
In the complex is also located the restaurant "Le Colonne" that in an elegant and romantic atmosphere proposes from the most typical Venetian traditional fish dishes to the most elaborate creative cuisine. Renowned is the cellar with national and international wines that can be enjoyed in one of the many lounges near the fireplace.
