Manoir Inter Scaldes Restaurant owes its name and fame to its splendid location. Located in the vast polders of Zeeland, it is surrounded by a lush English garden, amidst a multitude of traditional trees and plants that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The building dates back to 1927 and has been a restaurant since 1968. Over the years the expansion of the elegant Serre restaurant has been completed. In 1990, the romantic Manoir was outfitted with 12 luxurious rooms, each with a unique characteristics, decorated with rich fabrics and stylish antiques, a fact. renovated and beautifully redesigned after a fire that had damaged it extensively, it was reopened in all its glory in May 2004.
In the renowned restaurant we can find the characteristic menu of the Patron-Cuisinier Jannis Brevet, where the influences of the Zeeland territory are clear. Lobster, oysters, mussels and sea bass are in good balance with what the country has to offer, such as Zeeuws sucking lamb, the famous vegetable salami and lamb's ears, and of course Beveland's cheeses and fruit.
