Tenuta Torre Gaia is an imposing home from the early twentieth century, renovated in country style and surrounded by 113 hectares of vineyards. The estate is now home to a resort and has 10 rooms and 2 suites with terraces and enchanting views. The structure houses the restaurant "Donna Giulia" which offers typical local dishes revisited with skill and creativity.
Tenuta Torre Gaia History
Located in the Dugentano, a territory with a strong wine vocation, Tenuta Torre Gaia stands on the edge of the Taburno Regional Park. Built at the beginning of the twentieth century by dr. Federico Perlingieri, banker and agronomist, was one of the first companies in Campania to experiment with the production and export of his wines and still occupies a primary position among the regional food and wine.
The resort occupies the central part of the estate, where the 12 rooms, 2 of which are suites, are set in a striking setting where the rhythms are relaxed and peaceful moments of the past. The rooms are tastefully furnished with furniture in the style of the early twentieth century and are equipped with every modern comfort. The suites, moreover, being located in the highest part of the building, have large terraces from which to enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.
The Donna Giulia restaurant is inserted into the original body of the estate and has large windows overlooking the park and the swimming pool. The menu consists of typical dishes of the rich tradition of Samnite and Campania, revisited with imagination by the chefs. Guests can enjoy an unforgettable food and wine tour in the internal hall, heated by the warmth of the fireplace or outside, surrounded by majestic ancient trees, vineyards and the nearby swimming pool.
The large halls of Tenuta Torre Gaia, which can accommodate up to 350 seats, lend themselves perfectly to the realization of receptions, conferences and meetings. The elegance of the sets and furnishings combined with love for cooking and good wine, transform each event into an unforgettable memory.
