Terme Manzi Hotel & Spa

Built as a spa in 1863 by the Manzi brothers, entrepreneurs from Ischia, linked to the exceptional properties of the source of the Gurgitiello, in 1960 the Terme Manzi Hotel was acquired by the publisher Angelo Rizzoli, who contributed to making Ischia known to the international jet set.

In the 2000s the hotel was purchased, renovated and transformed into a five-star hotel by the Polito family, professionals in the cult of hospitality, who knew how to renew it with passion by combining the glories of the past and modern comforts.

The restyling, by the architect Cesare Longo, wanted to pay homage to the history of Ischia, re-proposing the architectural styles of the different peoples who colonized the island, from the Greeks to the Romans, from the Turks to the Spaniards.

The restaurant of the Terme Manzi hotel is also prestigious, with three restaurants, one of which is the well-known Il Mosaico Restaurant, led by the great chef Nino Di Costanzo, awarded two stars by the Michelin guide.
