Villa Bautier is a beautiful location nestled in the green of the ancient Borgo San Lorenzo, a few kilometers Cerignola. Born as a hunting lodge in 1772 has been modernized and restored to its former glory to be the location for dream receptions.
Villa Bautier History
Villa Bautier - Borgo San Lorenzo was initially built as a hunting lodge in 1772, the main facade is architecturally believed to be of the Vanvitellian school and is based on Villa Campolieto, in Ercolano, one of the Vesuvian villas of the golden age.
The Cascina San Lorenzo bears the same augury in Latin also present on the main staircase of Villa Campolieto, the last Campanian residence of the Cirillo Farrusi family. Later, the villa gave up the name of hunting lodge in favor of a place dedicated to relaxation and care of body and soul, acquiring the name of Bautier, from the surname of Cirillo Farrusi's wife, Mrs. Marie Claire Bautier Solvay.
San Lorenzo was never a "Masseria of agricultural work" but rather a "Place of delights", where the owner family, for more than two centuries, spent their periods of relaxation away from the routine of daily life.
Today Villa Bautier is a typical historical Apulian farmhouse renovated in modern total white. The two rooms are a combination of rural forms and the use of modern materials such as large windows that allow the guests' gaze to wander over the beautiful gardens and the surrounding nature.
The rooms are embellished with sumptuous chandeliers and antique floors that reveal all the charm of the past enclosed in this beautiful home that can accommodate up to three hundred people. Each reception can be made to measure by choosing between the charming indoor and outdoor settings such as the pool, the colorful fountains, the staircase.
