The village of Volpaia is located a few minutes from the capital Radda in Chianti. The castle, built around the tenth century, is wonderfully intact, thus preserving the medieval aspect of the 1100s. The structures of the ancient castle are now entirely dedicated to wine production and accommodation, with apartments and villas where the charm of history remained unchanged, and the Osteria Volpaia, where you can taste the traditional local cuisine interpreted in a contemporary key.

Even born in the 11th century, the Fattoria di Volpaia came to life as a fortified village, built on a hill. The village was built by the Florentine family called "della Volpaia"
