Kastélyhotel Sasvár

In one of Hungary's most beautiful places, the treasure chest of Parádsasvár, stands Kastélyhotel Sasvár Resort, a 19th-century Gothic-style castle hidden in the hills of the Mátra Mountains.

The 53 rooms, 5 suites and one apartment are designed to offer our guests maximum comfort and tranquility. All rooms are air-conditioned and the entire facility is equipped with underfloor heating. Guests can choose between three wings, connected by an underground corridor, and have access to our spa area. The spa features an adventure pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, natural sauna, steam bath, salt therapy room, solarium, massage, outdoor panoramic jacuzzi and sun terrace.

Rich indoor activity offerings include a recreation room, game room, fitness room, Xbox, 4K car simulator, library and laser tag, and private billiard room. On the same level as the spa, the pub offers free bowling, billiards, foosball, slot machines and a special wall ball court. The Castle Hotel has a tennis court, volleyball court, ping pong, streetball court, outdoor pool, barbecue terrace and cocktail bar. For younger children there is a trampoline in the garden.
If you visit the lookout of the tower building, you can also admire the wide panorama around the Castle.
In 2020 the Hungarian Sports Stars Exhibition was opened, where you can see the relics of our extraordinary sportsmen.

Meals are provided by our team of chefs Barnabás Bokros. A hearty breakfast and candlelight dinner await guests in the Aquila Restaurant, where you can also enjoy an a la carte lunch. Meat, artisanal cheeses, fruits, vegetables and syrups are sourced from local producers. Preference is also given to Matras wines.
The surroundings of the Kastélyhotel are also excellent for hiking, sledding, cycling, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, but the greatest experiences are inside the Kastély
