In the center of Nogaredo, between the vineyards of Marzemino and Merlot della Vallagarina stands the residence of the Counts Lodron, one of the most important noble families of the region. The building of the building dates back to the sixteenth century and was completed in the seventeenth century. Among the most illustrious representatives of the Lodron family, the Archbishop of Salzburg, Paride Lodron, remembers that after commissioning the architect Santino Solari to build the Cathedral of Salzburg and the Hellbrunn Castle, he also entrusted him with the work for the completion of the Palace. of Nogaredo. The Lodron also developed close relationships with the Mozart family, with Wolfang Amadeus and Sister Nannerl giving piano lessons to the sons of Count Lodron; Mozart will then compose for the countess Antonia and his daughters Jesepha and Aloisa the concert for three pianos in F major, also known as Lodronische Nachtmusiken (Lodronian serenades).
