A masterful restoration has given new splendor to the architectural core of the sixteenth century: the central body of the structure consists of the ancient manor house, bounded by four turrets that protected the fort from the assaults of the brigands and raids of the Saracens.
Renovated in full respect of its historical heritage and embellished by a work of innovation by the Canadian architect Ralph Giannone, the hotel is a privileged outpost from which to explore the rich naturalistic and cultural heritage of Basilicata.
The guests who stay here live the housing experience in the "lammie", typical rural houses lined up in rows along the perimeter of the central courtyard.
