In the 12th century, the vineyards and winery of Rohrendorf were owned by the Benediktinerabbey Ebersdorf and to 1142 the first administrator of the Moser dynasty.

The Moser family is one of the great and traditional Austrian wine-growing dynasties. In 1848, Anton Moser began his own winery in the village of Rohrendorf. The most famous descendant of the family is the pioneer of viticulture Dr. Lenz Moser, who in the 1950s developed the system of high vine formation.
Sepp Moser founded the estate today in 1987 with vineyards in the Austrian wine areas Kremstal and Neusiedlersee. He has ambitiously dedicated himself to creating exquisite and full of character wines from the best sites.
