Documented for the first time in 1436, when the representative building came into possession of the Augustinian monastery of Birklingen, it was initially used as the "Monastery of the monks" and seat of the convent.
Since 1910, the Zehntkeller has been owned by the Seufert family, which has since brought its historic walls to the modern with friendly service.
