Relais La Tenuta del Gallo History
Tenuta del Gallo is a carefully renovated accommodation dating back to the 1600s, which extends over an area of over 1,000 square meters, located at the gates of Amelia, on the border between Lazio and Tuscany.
Surrounded by beautiful farmland, the estate offers a stay of absolute relaxation, thanks to an outdoor infinity pool and a seasonal outdoor pool; inside you will find a library with Wi-Fi and a restaurant mentioned in the most renowned trade magazines. The traditions in this charming farm are respected both in the creation of dishes, based on the typical Umbrian recipes, both in the choice of raw materials, enhanced by a modern kitchen that can offer genuine flavors. A wide selection of the best wines accompanies dishes prepared with the company's products: breads, cakes, homemade pies, homemade jams and simple and tasty dishes such as the semifreddo del Casale, prepared by hand according to the recipe of the grandmother.
The rooms and suites are different from each other and feature elegant antique furniture, antique paintings and rich fabrics, decorated ceilings and terracotta floors. Among the most requested accommodations are the suites with terrace, the rooms located in the tower with loggias and those in the "casaletto" with private patios.
Once you enter the Relais La Tenuta del Gallo you are immersed in timeless atmospheres, surrounded by the panorama of the Colli Amerini from the Umbrian countryside, where sports enthusiasts and outdoor enthusiasts can take long rides on horseback or mountain -bike, while staying at the farm you can attend cooking classes and gardening, or grapple in the olive harvest.
