Hotel Ruze History
Hotel Ruze, shrouded in many myths and mysterious stories, originally served as a Jesuit boarding school in the 16th century. The hotel's later appearance was in no way spectacular. The new owner, who one day decided to buy the hotel and rebuild it in its present form, made it a jewel while preserving its ancient character.
An extensive collection of paintings, Persian carpets in the hallways and rooms, period mannequins, painted shutters, original wooden floors and beams, carved Renaissance furniture, sofa beds reminiscent of the royal throne, and sumptuous beds with decorative ends. All this is visible at every step in the hotel. From both sides of the hotel you can see the Vltava River, which envelops the entire center of Cesky Krumlov. Especially beautiful is the daytime and nighttime view of the local castle towering majestically over the city. Enjoy the view from some of the rooms.
