Locanda di Villa Torraccia History
"A stop with friends", reads the brochure of Villa Torraccia. And a stay here does not really betray this promise. Calling this hotel accommodation would be against the spirit of Antonio Galeazzi, who runs it with the intention of creating something very different, to offer the opportunity to live a holiday without time constraints to be respected, in an environment full of charm that well combines tranquility and absolute relaxation.
For hospitality, only spacious suites and one different from the other, in colors and style, consisting of a large bedroom, a sitting room and a bathroom with shower. They were created in the medieval part of the building, restored in full respect of the volumes and pre-existing architecture, but made less cool by tricks and tasteful furnishings, such as exposed stone walls, large brick fireplaces, ceilings with wooden beams , antique furniture and antique terracotta floors.
This is what we see today, but the history of Villa Torraccia began around the thirteenth century, when it was built as a watchtower. Later it was turned into a lighthouse for nocturnal travelers to Pesaro and finally, in the fifteenth century, in a manor house. The residence, situated in a splendid panoramic position, is surrounded by three thousand square meters of Italian garden, arranged on three sloping terraces surrounded by ancient stone walls. We also offer outdoor spaces for receptions with catering.
