Eremito Hotelito Del Alma History
L'Eremito Hotelito Del Alma is the new Umbrian eco-hotel, cradle of Italian spirituality. In an almost mystic-like isolation, in the peaceful green of the Tarina Valley, surrounded by over 3000 hectares of nature reserve, it is a perfect location to rediscover silence and tranquility.
The key words of this ancient dwelling of 1300 brought back to its former glory after four years of work are spirituality, ecology and technology: renovated using the most modern finds in the field of green building, the Hermit recalls the features of a medieval monastery. Only 14 single rooms, inspired and decorated like the rooms of the friars, where elegance and simplicity are the protagonists: a small stone balcony overlooking the surrounding valley, French bed and hemp sheets.
In winter you eat in the refectory heated by the warmth of the fireplace, in the summer under the flowered pergola in the garden. Dinner is always consumed in silence: a vegetarian cuisine, with a fixed seasonal menu where the recipes are those of the local and monastic tradition (from cabbage rolls to lentil and chestnuts soup, from chicory cooked with potatoes to pici to sauce made in home). All products coming from the garden, from the orchard or from the garden of aromatic essences of the estate.
A large reading room where you can relax lying on cushions placed on the ground and a relaxation area created from the hard rock, where there are whirlpool, steam bath and chromotherapy.
Guests who wish can practice morning Yoga and dedicate the afternoon to meditation; guided walks in the woods, to the waterfall, to the river; participation in relaxing gardening and horse-riding
The Hermit responds to the needs of modern man, always overwhelmed by a thousand commitments and the frenzy of everyday life: here are met the need to rediscover the pleasure of simple things, quiet, silence; the need to disconnect from everything and everyone for a spiritual holiday in connection with oneself and nature.
