The roots of Kendov Dvorec date back to the year 1377, when the first owners already owned a farm above the Idrijca river valley. The suites and rooms at the Kendov Dvorec are named after former members of the Kenda family and are furnished with elegant handmade furniture from the 19th century.

Hana's Hall, the most spacious and formerly stable of the castle, is today an elegantly decorated space intended for parties, weddings, as well as business meetings, presentations, training courses and cultural events.
From Jakob's light-filled hall you can enjoy views of the flower garden and fruit trees. In the evening, tastings of selected wines are held with a house sommelier. The hall is also used for business and study meetings, weddings, celebrations and evening gatherings.
In the "Hiša" room the "stube", the living room corner and the old sideboard give the feeling of a cozy house where you can breathe the tradition of the local environment. Once it was the central space of the farm where the family gathered for meals.
Another room available is the one where once there was the black kitchen. Today it is a relaxing place that invites you to sit by the fireplace, eating Kendov Dvorec's cookies or struccoli, sampling the local brandies and wine or picking up a book or newspaper.
The small bedroom is a nice corner for couples or guests who want privacy. The view of the Church of Marija na Skalci from the window is especially pleasant in the evening when the bell tower is illuminated. The small room is named after the room where the children of the Kenda family used to sleep.
Hana's garden in Kendov Dvorec, which overlooks the old granary with frescoes dating back to 1796, is especially charming in the summer when hydrangeas in bloom surround the garden shed and hundred-year-old apple trees.
