Hotel Lady Lusya is a historic residence of the Bourbon era, dating back to the period between the fifteenth and the eighteenth century, located in the Val di Noto in Contrada Spinagallo, about 10 km from Syracuse, in an area of great tourist value and in position ideal for visiting the whole of Eastern Sicily, from Etna and Taormina to the southern tip of Capo Passero. Also within easy reach of the hotel are picturesque seaside areas and important tourist and cultural areas such as the archaeological excavations of Syracuse, Noto, Ortigia, the Necropolis of Pantalica, the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, Taormina and the Vendicari Nature Reserve.
Surrounded by the countryside between the green and the lemon groves, where peace and quiet are guaranteed even at the height of the high season, it is a charming hotel born from the careful restoration of a villa belonging to a historic Sicilian baronial family, which became the beginning of the 1800 also the residence of a cardinal. Because of the salubrity of the place, characterized by a dry climate, it was considered an ideal place for the treatment of rheumatic diseases (even today it is possible to read the inscription "qui si sana" on the arch of access to the house).
