Located in the center of Augusta, close to the city's ever-busy port, 35 km from Syracuse and some of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of Sicily, Palazzo Zuppello is a historic dwelling dating back to 1700, which has recently been restored the ancient charm. A small jewel of architecture in which the impressive arches of the hall welcome guests in an atmosphere in balance between past and present, tradition and modernity.
In the 20 rooms, including suites, superior and standard, technology and comfort are combined with elegant refinement; the two suites have antique furnishings and both overlook 18th-century shelf balconies. Each room is equipped with Wi-Fi, minibar and satellite TV and some have a window or terrace with sea view.
In the restaurant of Palazzo Zuppello, the Xifonia, you can taste the Mediterranean cuisine, with the flavors and aromas of the Sicilian tradition revisited with originality to satisfy the most demanding palates. In summer, a large terrace overlooking the Gulf of Xifonio offers evocative evenings between sky and sea, accompanied by tasty dishes and a wide selection of champagne, Sicilian wines and sparkling wines.
Palazzo Zuppello also has a conference room, "Mona Lisa", housed in an elegant eighteenth-century structure with vaulted ceilings that can accommodate up to 120 people, perfect for meetings, training courses and conferences.
