Hotel Westend History
Surrounded by parks and gardens and framed by the beautiful mountains that embrace the Merano basin, Hotel Westend is housed in an old villa in authentic Art Nouveau style, renovated and made comfortable for its guests. Merano, a jewel city in the heart of the Alps, famous for its thermal baths and a favorite health resort of the Tyrolean nobility, was the ideal place chosen at the end of the 19th century by architect Pietro Delugan to build this building, making it one of the symbols of the small town.
The spacious and elegant rooms have a balcony overlooking the countryside and are equipped with the most modern comforts; all soundproofed to ensure maximum tranquility, have a bath or shower, TV with international programs, direct dial telephone and safe.
The hotel offers an excellent tasty and varied cuisine, with typical and international dishes, a prompt service and a warm welcome from the owners and staff. And what better after a sumptuous dinner than a relaxing stroll along the Passirio or a quiet evening sitting in the garden?
In every season the hotel prepares for its guests packages of attractions and leisures to best enjoy the holidays in Merano, both with the spas and with the famous ski resort Merano 2000 not far from the hotel.
