Lupinari History
The ancient village of Lupinari is located in the Chianti hills halfway between the medieval cities of Arezzo and Siena. Result of a careful restoration work of the sixteenth century village, Tenuta Lupinari welcomes its guests in a unique setting, made of breathtaking landscapes and wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside made of olive trees and vineyards (from which the estate has been producing for over 40 years Chianti called the "Torri" and extra virgin olive oil called "Primo di Lupinari".
The village complex consists of a farmhouse, where is housed the small 4-room Bed & Breakfast, the restaurant, a bar, a common lounge equipped with Wi-Fi and finally from 11 apartments of various sizes and style.
All the property has been the subject of a skilful restoration that has been able to enhance the ancient atmosphere leaving intact the original architecture and antique furnishings. All rooms of the B & B have antique furniture in classic style and are equipped with all modern comforts such as satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar and direct dial telephone.
Inside the company you will also find a castle, the work of the brilliant architect Gino Coppedè affirmed to the present day with his true style "Coppedè Style", unique in its kind. The rooms and exteriors of the Castle have been frescoed by the famous painter Galileo Chini, author of numerous works of art including the famous Terme Berzieri di Salsomaggiore and the Grand Hotel des Thèrmes and I could name as many as the throne room in the Royal Palace of Bangkok.
