The residence was founded in 1778 as a hunting lodge of the Sortino Trono family and even today the descendants welcome the doors of their home with travelers in search of the charm of the Sicilian land. The farm is a concrete example of the deep bond between this ancient dwelling of charm and the territory: in the fields grow wild herbs and flowers that allow then to feed the Modica cows and produce the typical Ragusano d.o.p .; the olive groves, carobs, meadows and vegetable gardens are treated with the same passion of the past, a daily job thanks to which you get extra virgin olive oil, honey, carob flour so precious in the typical Sicilian pastry.
